Twilight's Alice Cullen by NECA @ New York Toy Fair 2009

TWILIGHT-NYTF

Admittedly I had lost interest have not been following NECA's TWILIGHT figures ever since my lone blog post back in Dec'08 (doesn't help when I'm not "connected" having neither read the book nor watched the flick) - but these images of "Edward Cullen & Bella" (2-pack) and a "Alice Cullen" - seen on Cool Toy Review's coverage of New York Toy Fair 2009 (which had on display more jewelry and accessories than toys, actually :p) looks pretty good, especially Alice, IMHO. CLICK THRU for a closer look at Neca's Alice.

Part of me actually wishes someone would do them in "proper" 1/6th-scale, as their clothes would make fab kitbash-fodder, at the very least in modern street-wear, IMHO. (Yes, my interest in Twilight at this point is purely for their clothes in 1/6th-scale :p). Altho a fully cloth-dressed up Alice would make a cool femme fig too, in all her Victorian-goth-chic 'do, yeh?

[Alice Cullen was played by Ashley Greene in the movie Twilight (New Moon)]

"Alice Cullen (born Mary Alice Brandon) is the adopted daughter of Carlisle and Esme, adoptive sister of Edward, Rosalie, and Emmett, and wife of Jasper. Alice is described as being petite and pixie-like at 4 ft 10 in (1.5 m), with a graceful gait and hair that is short, spiky, and black. Her special ability is to see the future, an enhanced version of her ability to have premonitions as a human. However, her ability is limited; she is only able to see the outcome of a decision once it is made." [wiki]
