DC Direct Announces BLAMMOIDS! Series 1
From DC Direct comes a series of new PVC mini figures with a decidedly "less traditional" humanoid toy-form - witness the "hyper-stylized" BLAMMOIDS!BLAMMOIDS! Series 1 features six (6) designs total featuring Batman and Joker, Green Lantern and Sinestro, Aquaman and Firestorm (With Firestorm surprisingly the most interesting of the lot, mostly for his flame-top. IMHO :p). Each figure measures approx 2.5" to 4" tall and possess three points of articulation. Each are packaged on a blister card with a sale-date of January 20, 2010 - Suggested Retail Price / SRP undetermined.

To be fair, there is no particular claim for it to be urban-vinyl-themed (ala UNI-FORMZ) and at the same time sits uneasily between the cubic Mini-Mates and Super-Deformed gashapon-aesthetics. Here's the product-pitch:
