Rockette collabo-custom-Munny by Cris Rose x Lunabee (May 6-drop)
ROCKETTE is a 4 inch Munny custom-collaboration between UK-artists Cris Rose ad Lunabee - and is a 1-of-1 edition hybrid vinyl-resin custom piece made with Vinyl, Resin, Acrylic, Spray paint, Metal, Plastic, Found objects, and straight-up coolness, IMHO.
Slated for an online release on May 6th @ 6pm London time via crisrose.bigcartel.com - Rockette comes signed and is priced at US$100.
Besides the obvious artistic-collaboration, the story behind the character of Rockette is too a collab = CLICK THRU to read and peep more of Rockette :)
ROCKETTE's STORY: "Rockette was just your average teenager from the land of Keskabo. A typical girl, she liked pink, butterflies loud music and rocket powered robosuits. As a member of the most technologically developed people on the planet, she wanted for very little, so would often shirk her responsibilities, strap on her robosuit and fly down the beach and out to sea at Mach 2 (the neighbours get pissed when she does it in the park).
One day while flying over some of the tiny islands miles off the coast, Rockette was listening to her music far too loudly to hear the beeping that warned of a clog in the intake manifold, and soon found herself crashing through jungle trees. Her helmet ruined, she discarded it, turning around to face..."

"...the angry yellow face of Matojo, an important leader in the Ki-Ki Booshka tribe. "You are on Ki-Ki Booshka land!" he yelled angrily. The anger quickly disappeared into confusion as his beady black eyes took in the bright pink suit with tubes and buttons. Who was this strange girl, where on earth had she come from and what was this strange pink casing she was covered in? Matojo has never seen anything like it in his 40 years as witch doctor to the tribe.
Rockette looked around wild eyed and shouted for help as Matojo and the other tribal members carried her to the centre of the village where she saw a campfire crackling and a roasting spit eagerly awaiting something... or someone. She hoped her homing device was still intact from the crash and clicked the button just as she was thrown to the ground and tied to a stake whilst the tribe muttered amongst themselves ways of removing the suit to prepare her for their dinner...."
