Local artist Zxerokool shares with us a recently completed commissioned project (by Kult for Feiyue Sneakers / just launched not too long ago) featuring the Feiyue-brand sneaker, with a little twist!

ZXEROCOOL-Adds: "The inspiration for this piece came from pop culture stunt icon Evel Knievel. I wanted to capture the death defying spirit of stunt culture and juxtapose that with the Chinese spirit of modern progression. The rise of China can be said to be the golden ascension of the economy of the east, and the Chinese people have been known to go ‘where the gold is’. The Golden Star Destroyer is an embodiment of these ideas, it features the unyielding spirit of Chinese ambition coupled with a sense of forward flying contemporary ideals."




Feiyue Brand History:
This small shoe made of light material, that has guided the paths of all social classes in China, has crossed continents, arriving in Europe in 2006, where it was picked up by a team of French enthusiasts, fascinated by sneakers and urban culture.
