MONSTER MATCH by Shawn Smith (of Shawnimals-fame) launched August 7th @ OhNo!DOOM Gallery ~ which saw Shawn delve into a decidedly different, if not opposite of his "usual" adorable creations ala Ninjatown and his plushies. On show were painted and plushed "monsters" ~ which you can view and purchase online here. Interesting to see another aspect of Shawn's art, IMHO. Am wondering if these will be made manifest into toys in the future? As we ponder over things we may never know the answer to (until the become a reality) ~ CLICK THRU for slideshow snaps of the launch. "Monster Match" exhibits thru August 28th, 2010.
