TOOBIGFOOT by Michael Lau x Fingercroxx
Michael Lau released his latest figure collaboration with Fingercroxx, Saturday last in Causeway Bay, Hong Kong, and ChouKawaii reviews both the Grey and Black-and-White releases, dubbed TOOBIGFOOT.
The 20cm tall vinyl figure features articulation at wrist, arm, chest and feet, as well a swivel head utilizing magnets. Even the top part of his head can be removed to reveal a peanut-sized brain haha. Available was a 100-pc limited edition box-set, which included a t-shirt, a bag and a comicbook featuring the character TOOBIGFOOT. Quite frankly, if no one mentioned this was a ML-design, I would not have recognized it. Or perhaps my notion and lurve for Michael's character designs are stuck back in the earlier days of Crazy Children et al? Neverthless, the playfulness of this design more than makes up for my lack of abject enthusiasm, and hell, if I could afford it, I'd be proudto have these two in my humble ML-collection hahaha
