From Joshua Artono of Plastic Culture we get to have recap-report of their recently concluded "My New Obsession, Collectors Showcase" - featuring private toy collections from top collectors in Indonesia on show! Folks like Sani Prawira, Roy Hendarto, Antonius Budi, Edi Irawan, and Bowo Suhardjo brought in their toy-treasures and shared with everyone at The Other Culture in Jakarta! JOSHUA ARTONO: My New Obsession: Collectors Showcase was held at The Other Culture from November 18th to 30th. We will have a mini closing party that will have auctions from collectors (THIS WILL BE SO MUCH FUN!)

Collectors have to either bring out their collections based on artists, toy series or color. One of the center piece of this collection is of course, the Dunny collection from Sani Prawira and Joe Ledbetter collection of Edi Irawan. Their collections alone almost fill out the entire space.

JOSHUA ARTONO: All in all we had a good time, and the collectors had so much fun. We had great reviews from local medias. Many people dropped by to the store and took some pictures. In the future, we would love to do this again on a slightly bigger scale.
