Resin Is King Series 2: Reveals, Product Details & Launch Party

PRESS: Tenacious Toys, in conjunction with Dead Hand Toys, announces the upcoming release of Resin is King Series 2: a blind-boxed resin mini figure series featuring the sculptural resin work of 16 artists! Each artist was asked to develop a new sub-3" resin sculpt and submit 10 pieces to the series using that sculpt. With 160 pieces in Series 2, this promises to be a much bigger release than Series 1.

The ARTIST ROSTER is as amazing as the pieces revealed (full images HERE on my dedicated Facebook album) featuring works from Brian Ahlbeck (Dead Hand Toys) / Dave Bondi / Rich Page (UME Toys) / NEMO & OsirisOrion (Bad Applez Inc.) / Jay222 / Motorbot / Matt A* / Argonaut Resins / Selina Briggs (The Jelly Empire) / Kilroy III / Kris Dulfer (KiD iNK iNDUSTRiES) / JC Rivera / Christopher Moore (We Become Monsters) / Vanessa Ramirez and Scott Kinnebrew (Forces of Dorkness).


A Release Party is planned for at the Kidrobot New York store, happening October 4th (6-8pm) where the blind boxes will be available at US$25 each pull, and a full case (containing 1 piece from each of the 16 artists) will be US$400. Also look out for the Golden Ticket in one of those blind boxes that will get the lucky winner a sweet prize from Argonaut Resins: an 8-inch Tuttz that matches Argonaut's Sucio mini figures in this series! On October 5th, any leftover Resin is King Series 2 blind boxes will be put up for sale online at TenaciousToys.com. Truly enjoying this series as they feature brand new sculpts too!
