Years later to see live-action versions of the characters in the "MCU / Marvel Cinematic Universe" was indeed a treat, but recognising Bucky'll "never" follow the course of the comicbook source ... unless it is a "alternate / multiverse" version that would def satisfy fans' wish, IMHO! Even if it's for a sliver of a time ... or they could just do a animated version in "What If?", right?

Interestingly spotted on my timeline (English translated via @LeQGdesSupers):

Nicolas Cage stated that in #SpiderNoir, he specifically designed his performance for the black-and-white version. But he also requested that it be filmed in color for the teens:

"I designed my performance for black and white. And I’m glad to have seen it that way. In fact, it was one of my ideas that they shoot it in color too, because I know teenagers and I know they don’t have much experience with black and white. So the dream is that they watch it in color, then discover it in black and white and learn something. And then, maybe they’ll say to themselves: ‘Hey, I feel like checking out some of these cinematic references,’ and then they’ll open up a true treasure trove of the richness of great American cinema. That’s the dream. I hope it happens."
