huck gee's gold life
:: TOYS / 1/6 ::
a "classic" 12-inch Action Man custom by Huck Gee (for the Back In The Day show) depicting a golden-armoured Samurai named: Gold Life, as featured in both VinylPulse and VinylAbuse and will be featured during the SDCC.
obviously not as detailed as them DID-Samurais, but points are given for the attempt and for the constant "promotion" (by-default :p) of the 1/6th scale as a toy-platform of choice (as evident in the recent AM4040), and mayhap in the near future marry both genre of toys (urban vinyl versus 1/6th-scale hobby) and be embraced by both, and live happily ever after?
from what i've read online and even personally know of folks locally, tis a hard fight for most 1/6th-collectors to "cross-over" to the urban-vinyl-genre and mayhap visa-versa ... which most times is a real pity, becoz alla them toyz, regardless of make, size and genre = are great, innit? IMHO, of coz *heh*
