dgph cabello plush

"cabello" translates to "hair" in Spanish. and boy, does this angsty-fella have it! *LOL*

his name is Cabello and he's more than ready to pound them jogging-tracks, he is! or maybe some step disco-aerobics? ya just never know with them headbands, ya know? :p

"hair/head-band retro-fashions" aside, Cabello is the first plush toy designed by DGPH outside of Argentina and is made with 8 different materials.

"Cabello lives on a small island. this is his domain. his only partner on the island, is a miniature whale living on top of his head that never says a word. and because there is no other company on the island, Cabello is forever angry and sad. he wishes for more friends to talk with, but because of his temper (always mad and shouting!), years pass without any other creatures ever visiting Cabello. so he is always alone, wishing for a friend, with a whale in his head."

Cabello is co-produced with Hicalorie Art Collective (UK) and DGPH design and visual arts studio (ARG) - and will see a release around the first quarter of 2007. (cheers for the info+images, Diego!) ~ stay tuned for details ~
