of non-english toy forums and the language of toys

a couple of "new finds" for non-speaking toy forum-boards, for your reading pleasure:

the Spanish SoloSonToys is created by Adrian Lopez (of 20/20 Expo Toys) as "a virtual message board for all the spanish-speaking fans to meet and discuss everything related to this ever-growing movement."

Adrian adds: "The main reason for the existence of this forum is the lack of a meeting point in Spanish. Most of the sites are in english and some in french, so I attempted to create our own community for collectors, artists or just anyone slightly interested who speak Spanish."

i asked Adrian what "SoloSonToys" meant: "it literally means "Theyareonlytoys" and its something I've been reading a lot all arround the online forums about vinyl toys, and I choose it because it reminds me of the Rolling Stones famous song "It's only R'n'R but I like it", and besides it's good to remember art toys can be much more than simple toys but we must not get an obsession with them." = well said, Adrian! :)

the French AlterToys forum was born almost a year ago (which i've only recently discovered, my bad :p), mainly "due to the lack of (toy) information intended for the French public ... also as another way to speak about toys" as stated by forum-creator; Tactac.

Tactac says: "This Board aims at informing and at communicating with the public French speaker of the news of the designers toys world. On altertoys you can sell or trade your toys but breaking the mold of the classic discussion boards, Altertoys offer a space for the artists who wish to offer their services or to show their work and also offers the possibility to speak about the very good shopping hotspots."

personally, i've always been "intrigued" about countries with "language-specific" toy forum-boards (or rather of their existence), especially when English-speaking boards are prolific amongst the current toy collector netizens. thru the coupla years i've been on this blog, i've found quite a few Dutch ones, as well as a boat-load of Mandarin/Chinese ones (altho sadly, my chinese sucks :p) and what i've always forgotten to ask of my correspondences with folks from all over the globe, was if they actually had a toy forum-board specific to their country's "mother tongue"?

for sure on the 1/6th-forum arena, there's Japanese, German et al, but what about "the rest of the world"? where do you hangout online, to chat about toys? regardless of differing languages, tis about the cross-border international-language for the love of toys, that folks share innit? :)

do feel free to post URLs / links in the comments section, please. would really like to know of their existence ~ *thanks*
