Iron Masks Thru The Ages (aka Destro's mask possibly revealed)

Apologies to TRE-readers, for this post (with image-montage above-left) was actually started prior to the beginning of the Chinese New Year (where I'd subsequently slacked-off and did nothing else but eat new-year-goodies, drank soda and got fatter *burp*) and upon coming back now, it doesn't seem as "funny" as I'd intended it to be (have been) ... if fact, it think the development of what could potentially be the reveal of DESTRO's iron-mask (above-right) in the live-action G.I.Joe movie is pretty tragic, IMHO. Upon second look, the features look like an Easter Island statue. *yikes*

  1. They could make him appear really creepy by not showing his expressions through the mask, and instead just having blank eyes. That would be pretty cool. I've never understood how his metal face can show expressions as it did in the Marvel comics.

  2. for some strange moment in my past, i'd actually thought Destro and X-Men's Colossus were somehow related, movable metal face and all, ya know? heh.
