What is Bü? Art Showcase & Launch Party @ Gladstone Hotel (June 11)
PRODUCT-PRESS: Crywolf, a local Toronto indie clothing and accessories company, has just gone through the process of designing and having their very first vinyl artist's toy manufactured. It is a blank do-it-yourself toy/art object called Bü. This is one of the biggest projects the small company has undertaken so far in their career.
For the official release of Bü, there will be a launch party/art themed showcase. Crywolf has carefully chosen a select group of 20 talented and eclectic local artists (nationally and internationally recognized) to customize their very own Bü. Guests expected to attend this event are a targeted, young adult, art crowd. The event is called "What is Bü? Art Showcase & Launch Party" and will be held at the Gladstone Hotel, on Saturday June 11th, 2011. There will be raffle prizes sponsored by lots of local brands and companies, a “Bümbastic People’s Choice” contest for guests favorite Bü, gift bags for the first 50 guests who make a purchase, and no cover at the event.
Bü comes in three colorways: Ocean, Sky and cCloud and it is approximately 3.5” wide and 4” tall. Guests at the Launch Party will be able to purchase their very own Bü at the event for US$10.00 (or event special of 3 for $24.00). Immediately after the launch it will be available through Crywolf’s online shop, and then later this year at various local retail locations. Currently the physical identity of Bü is purposefully kept under wraps until the launch on June 11th, after which you can find out how they look like exactly via whatsyourbu.com.
