Toy Review: Notorious B.I.G. from Mezco (2008 NYCC-Exclusive)

Today TOYSREVIL has a look at the Notorious B.I.G. articulated figure from Mezco. This was the NYCC-Exclusive from 2008 (and was a generous gift from EDaye of The Zro Hour = thanks, sir!) and was limited to 2000 pieces produced worldwide.

The 9-inch tall articulated figure plastic-Biggie decked out in the outfit seen in his Juicy video, an authentically reproduced yellow basketball jersey. As well accessories like removable towel, gold chain (metal chain with a plastic ampulet), sunglasses, and microphone.

The figure came housed in a non-descripted box with a black-n-white print and was priced initially at US$30 - which in my mind is an awesome price for a truly awesome figure, and I am not even a huge fan of BIGGIE the recoding artist! The likenesss is exceptional, and my fave parts if the figure include it's articulation, and his chunky-boots! If you can find this figure at a good price = GRAB IT! *nuff said*

Check out more images of him via THIS FB-album. Meanwhile, also check out the JUICY video below:

  1. I have the other four...I didn't even know this one existed. I have never seen it until today. Thank you. Now I have something to hunt for. I actually met Biggie in 1995....crazy.

  2. Andy! FINALLY you opened the box after all these years..I am so happy that you like it. Its one of my favorite pieces and a bit hard to find online. I only regret not getting two of them but I have one and another limited edition that was sold only online at mezco's website. Enjoy it and thanks again for all you do here.
