TOYSREVIL's Top-10 Valentines Toy Buys
A hand-made greeting card. An album of photographs of both of you together. A heart-shaped box of cookies. A heart-shaped box of chocolates. A surprise meal you cooked and made yourself. A dozen roses. Two dozen roses. Hell, make it three dozen!
The representations of three little words embodied by the tangible gifts in your hand, intended to be presented to your loved ones, has always confounded boggled the minds of the collective human race for all eternity. Not content with birthdays and Christmases, there also Valentines' Day to answer to? Oh, you don't believe in the commericality of Valentines' Day - created by corporations to fleece further hard-earned money out of you? No worries, mate, I might not disagree with you, but this post isn't for you folks either, thanks!
I'm speaking as a bloke who had given all of the above to ex-girlfriends, and frankly I might say neither of the above worked (hell, I'm still single now, and have been for the past few years, yeh?). But then again, a single Valentines gift makes not a relationship, does it?
Nevertheless, ever since I've been this road of "toys", I have since "discovered" a whole new frontier of gift-giving, which showcases art toys and customs - embodying the effort and personableness in which heightens their value (what, you think no one counts the cost of the item, hence YOUR value in THEIR eyes? Wake up and smell the post-V-Day withering roses, folks! LOL), by you could present to your partner, be it male or female, IMHO. (And if I could find a female that would love gifts like these from me, then she'll be a keeper ;p).
Last year I asked what folks' impression of Vaentines Day was, this year I pick the Top Ten Toys as gifts I would ideally procure and give away, that I have previously featured on my blog. There's more to be had tho, just CLICK HERE for the tag "Valentine"! And yes, I know it might be a tad "too late" for folks to get their V-Day Gifting on, but hey - better 'late' than "I'll treat you right next year honey", yeh? Remember, "LOVE HAS NO DATELINE!" (Sorry but that only goes one-way, I'm afraid, oh you know the drill lol),
