Marine Ramdhani sends word of his upcoming exhibition at Salihara Gallery, opening 6th of October. This exhibition is also a part of the annual Festival Salihara, held by the gallery (Salihara Gallery @ Jl.Salihara No.16. Pasar Minggu Jakarta). Congrats, bro!
As well the event will see the official launch of the "PLUM" figure , produced by MyTummyToys, and on top of that, Kusovinyl and Plastic Culture also will also officially launch the Yellow Jouwe vinyl, on the same day! Loads of excitement in Indonesia, folks!
Here is an exclusive first look at images for PLUM release! Standing 10 inches tall and possessing 3 points of articulation, the first colorway released will be the baby BLUE, limited to only 10 pieces worldwide and priced at US$120 each (Price not incisive shipping). With a basic concept by Marine Ramdhani and Aish, I had the opportunity to see the early sculpted-incarnation a few years back when I was in Bandung (Pre-Stroke), and it is awesome to see the figure completed and being made available to the art toy market!
