IN PROGRESS @ Mondo Gallery (Jan 25-Feb 23)
Launched Friday January 25th was “IN PROGRESS” @ Mondo Gallery, in Austin, Texas - where the exhibition features essentially "line art" from participating artists such as Laurent Durieux ("Iron Giant"), Aaron Horkey ("Lord of the Rings"), Jock ("Lady Justice"), Jason Edmiston ("Planet of the Apes" / previews shown above), and posted below is a Studio Ghibli-homage by Martin Ansin (which I really hope they make a print of) - with gallery images snapped by Nerdlocker - who has an entire album of gallery snaps viewable here.
"Line Art" is particularly on my mind right now, as I prepare for issue #2 of my self-publihsed fanzine #ILIKETOYS as it features loads of "line art" drawings (not self-plug, i insist!) ... IN PROGRESS exhibits through February 23rd, 2013.
