9" Wood Jordon from Michael Lau
Spotted on the Michael Lau Facebook fanpage, is a scanned page (off east touch magazine - issue 980) featuring a 9" tall WOOD JORDON! A new vinyl piece with the finish replicating the texture of wood (like his earlier releases; KINDERGARDENER, ZEX, Woody Hardy), featuring a return to the afro hairdo, and a highly "cartoonier" facial appearance - which frankly I would not have ever associated with ML if not mentioned in advance.
Limited to 99 pieces, they will be first made available at the GUMGUMGUM store in Hong Kong for the "KICK YOUR $$$" event (happening March 14-16th), which celebrates Jordon sneakers, as well as the release of a "Michael Jordan Last Shot exclusive" from ENTERBAY. 'Bundle' price has been mentioned to be HK$1699 in store, but I cannot authenticate that.
From Jordon23s to the red-shirted Chicago Bulls Jordon49 (pic via STStyle), Mr Lau sure likes his Jordons! I'm personally liking the all-Black version tho!
