INSTINCTOY’s Important Notice Regarding Queue Discipline for Sales @ Tokyo Comic Con 2017 (Day 2-3)
So jelly of @takeakikadota’s INSTINCTOY-haul!
INSTINCTOY goes all out for their display booth at Tokyo Comic Con this year, alongside with products galore (check THIS impressive list of toy-goodness!) … but with tons of pre-show prep, fitting toys into paper-bags, even with the space planning of the booth itself, inevitably the crowd of folks queuing up for their goods on Day 1, Friday December 1st, got the better of circumstances.
And while I cannot, and am in no position to speak about the situation itself, the image (above-right / from “Kow Cow” on Facebook) shows a scene of the “queue”, more “insane” than what STGCC had experienced in September *so I am told by quite a few folks :p) - folks need to know that “we” are serious about our “toys”, and is a testament to the interest collectors have over INSTINCTOYS’ products! … and with that unfortunate situation unfolded, Hiroto Ohkubo of INSTINCTOY had since announced the following;
"Firstly, we sincerely apologize to our customers, the surrounding booths and the organizer of TCC for such congestion and crowdedness at our booth today. Please accept our deepest apologies for any trouble we caused.
We have had a meeting with the organizer about our sales method. The organizer has decided that we will not be able to sell any products besides the mini-sized figures and the custom King Korpse figures for our auction on the following days.
We will still be able to make all the transactions with the winners from our prior mail lottery. However we will not sell any items due to cancellation from the prior mail lottery as we wish to avoid causing more trouble to other convention booths and visitors.
As for the auction, we will update further with more information tomorrow. Please keep an eye out for our update, especially the customers who have already made their bids or those who are planning to bid on the following days.
We will take this seriously so as not to cause any trouble and inconvenience.
We apologize once again to all our customers for all the inconvenience and confusion. Thank you very much for reading."
*GAMBATTE, Hiroto-san! Gambatte, INSTINCTOY!*
