#playingwith: SPACE DOG from Han Ning
Featured here are in-hand looks at the SPACE DOG collectible from Han Ning (Insta @hn0564) of 6HL6 in China, with this being one of 5 colorways recently released. As well featured here is a series of "size comparisons" to Han Ning's earlier "Space Dog" figure releases (I've previous reviewed this edition HERE).
This self-produced figure is surprising larger than images let up, with a pleasant pastel hue for the main figure itself (feels to be hard vinyl), and accompanying helmet-trim (of a different colour), and the clear bubble (ABS-made) helmet, an exact duplicate of said earlier release.
I appreciated the asymmetrical body of the dog (especially from its "behind"), tilted to a side, like its hind-legs are slanted-chilled to a side LOL - giving it a charm beyond "just a dog in a bubble helmet", IMHO.
The figure possesses zero articulation, and at times I wished the helmet could be removable, but in reality, would end up getting "lost", or damaged, in my humble hoard lol
This newly sized figure was released at Shanghai Toy Show 2019, along with a serious line-up of customs in a "Artist Series", also launched at STS2019.
Each 5.5" tall SPACE DOG is priced at US$54 each +shipping fee. All international buyers are to send an email to liyan0564_rao@sina.com, and submit purchase info. Paypal transactions (PayPal: liyan0564_rao@sina.com).
