Inspired by the Asian American victims of hate crimes, YEYE is the second installment of the Truth to Power line of designer toys. YEYE follows THE MESSENGER, a tribute to Colin Kaepernick's historic protest. MunkyKing hopes to raise awareness of the reality of AAPI hate and violence.
YARMS design studio created a likeness of the grandfather of the company's founder. "My Yeye lived peacefully in San Francisco's Tenderloin district amidst the chaos of the roughest neighborhood in the city. Were he alive today, would he still be treated like a human being?
