New Javier Jimenez Releases on StickUp Monsters



Meet "Nyarikabe", the newest yokai to join Javier Jimenez's "Ghetto HyakkiYagyo" toy line (*In which Javier explores traditional Japanese yokai but giving them his own twist)!

"This character is called "Nyarikabe" (ぬりかべ) and it's my take on Nurikabe, the wall yokai. On Sunday I will share a video on my YouTube channel telling it's story, but he was basically a regular Nurikabe full of cracks where cats would take shelter, and it felt warm and nice so he enjoyed having cats sleeping inside and started protecting them. He loved cats so much that he ended up developing cat features.". (@javierjimenezxl)





Nyarikabe will be available in two different colorways (OG colorway & Vandalized colorway / You can purchase the set with 10€ off) on Sunday 30th at 11AM EST (17 Spanish time) in stickupmonsters.bigcartel.com.



As well, dropping online alongside "Nyarikabe" is a slew of custom-painted "Baby Wananeko" one-offs, and other assorted goodness, including a "Gunslinger" Wananeko, and custom painted character figures from Javier's expanding "Ghetto HyakkiYagyo" toy line!
