wood & mccarty @ san diego comic convention 2008

Seriously, you have an awesome artist creating what would be THE toy of the year (in my little black book it is sheeyah!) and then pair him with an awe-inspiring (which I have publicly claimed) toy photographer extraordinaire ... put them together to do a signing session at the upcoming San Diego Comic Convention?

Ashley Wood and Brian McCarty will be at the Hi-Fructose Booth signing prints and bodyparts together! (Exact Day & Time TBC)

From Brian comes a special print edition of "Bertie the Pipebomb" (remember his desert photo-shoot? blogged) that will premiere on Saturday July 12th at CoproNason Gallery in Santa Monica, CA - as part of the Hi-Fructose Group Art Exhibition [www] as well as a as-yet-revealed collection of work from Baby Tattoo Books.

Ashley will have a special mystery print to go with any Regular edition Berties that will be made available at ToyTokyo (He will also sign at the TT booth if anyone wants to get their Bertie at the Con). This is on top of his singing sessions at the IDW Booth (can anyone say "WWR History Book" and "WARBOT"?) *coolio*
