Studio Visit With Joe Ledbetter by Dailydujour TV (July 1st)
Dailydujour had their first "Live" Studio Visit with Joe Ledbetter (on July 1st) - where "we" the viewers had a chance to walked through Joe's studio via the camera's POV, peeked at his toy-collection (A Star Wars Kubricks-fan he is) as well as prototypes of figures that were either not produced (in the past) and upcoming new ones - including a Monkey King proto! Also spotted on his computer monitor were turnarounds for a 24" Firecat, an impressive Griffin figure, and Slander Snake for Play Imaginative (which includes a little "surprise").
CLICK THRU for a selection of screengrabs of the video (Note: These are post-"live" telecast grabs, hence visuals are obscured by a subtitle-bar, but tis cool :p). Or you can do direct to Dailydujour TV to watch the entire video including a sit-down interview after the studio walk-thru :)
"Monkey King" prototype - inclusive of turnarounds on the monitor. There's even a wittle birdie perched at the end of the tail ... aaawwww ... more details as I get them (somehow). Will we get to see this little guy in August for STGCC? (Bring it along, Joe! Purdy-purleeze?)
Griffin turnaround designs. I'd missed the audio commentary / dialog for which company is producing is tho. I wanna see Joe's Griffin have an air battle with TOUMA's Beak Falcons tho! LOL
The green colorway Slander Snake turnarounds on Joe's monitor, which also includes a little "surprise" victim set/hidden within the snake - probably the wee bunny snack! LOL (maybe it is supposed to "rattle" within the main snake body? "Rattlesnake", geddit? heh)
[The graphic for the lil guy in yellow is to wrap around the sphere and hidden within the snake]
Turnarounds of a 24" tall Firecat planned to be made in fiberglass, with a possibility
to have a reduced vinyl version in the future. One of the colors mentioned was "Ferrari Red".
[Un-made Labbit and Dunnys]
[Artwork-WIPs, Sketches and Bootleg Caps found in Taiwan!]
**Disclaimer: All screengrab-images have been brightened and white-balanced by myself in
photoshop, and may not be wholly 100% accurate to the actual final product and/or artwork**
