soldier story's upcoming chinese military figures

from the makers of the femme Medic Of The Eight Route, comes a whole slew of teaser-images, with no accompanying info whatsoever! :p
permit me to attempt to unravel the mystery of these chinese brethren, with (most) images via OSW and with whatever "intel" i've gathered (like what the heck do i know about the military, eh? :p) ~ further information would be appreciated as well :) ~ onward!
first up is the Bugler (becoz he has a "bugle"? :p) and is a soldier of the Eight Route
Army andforbidden lover combat buddy of "Sylvia" (yes, i've given her a name)
this Infantry Trooper's KMT-crest on the cap suggests he serves in
the era of Chiang Kai-shek, during the Chinese Civil War.
this "Winter Trooper" with an AK-rifle looks to be in winter-combat gear (cap, mittens and puffy-fatigues) and is most probably a communist soldier in the People's Liberation Army (circa late-40s) and an "enemy" of the trooper shown above.
the gentlemen with a "respectible"-gut is suspected to be Ariel Sharon (IDF-era):
which sorta makes sense and the likeness is pretty accurate, IMO. - the figure makes for a belly-ful of variety, with a decent old-ish headsculpt., to be utilized evetually for random-kitbashes, 'natch :p
and from these older-images (for which i've lost the source and can't credit properly, my apologies) there seemed to be missing another jolly fellow - a Transport Soldier of the People's Liberation Army (box-art @ back).
probably comes together with a mini- truck (standing in front of). he would've been interesting becoz of the "chubby-face" and adding yet another variety of "chinese/oriental-faces" to ye collection :p
(there is actually a modern-military figure, both a male and female - for which im not too keen on, but do check it out for yourselves here)
and of coz, in the end i've answered nothing, besides placating the buzzing in my brainmatter from the cappuccino i should not have gulped down at midnight, prior to (and becoz of) this long-entry-to-nowhere *muahahahaaaarrr* ... anyways ...

Soldier Story looks set to conquer a very niche-specific and genre that which is the chinese military (or "related with") of the modern-era, which i do not see anyone else doing, in this scale ... and i kick-myself (gently tho :p) now for not picking-up the first soldier when it was released a few years back, which too came out with nary any further information other than the website-url of Soldier Story; which currentl still is a dead-link! ... and that to me proves the importance of "brand awareness" and of the plans for the future, for which these teaser-images have succeeded in doing, at least for the present moment, IMHO = *cool*
