Seen @ STGCC: Sunday Signings at Booth F51
Packed back-to-back on Sunday for my booth at STGCC, the day started with Gabby Tiongson (also one of the invited Guests for STGCC), and the signing of his print - which featured a collaborative illustration with yours truly, leading into my (proposed) lunch time, when the crowd started to get thick and heavy once QUICCS' session started. We were handing out FREE posters to be signed, while Quiccs sweetened the pot with free stickers! Both Philippines-based artists really started the ball rolling!
From New Zealand, Paul Shih's "POP Up Shop" session had a video of his toys shown from his iPad on the table top, alongside Sushi Kaiju and Pandara phone-cases revealed to the public for the first time! By the time Malaysia's own Abs Lee of ABSoluteLEE ME displayed her box of "free stickers", the crowd was at intense levels!
Indonesia, Bandung-based The Yellow Dino and Aingapore's own ANTZ rounded out Day Two with a more relaxed crowd by the late afternoon, where I even managed to get some snaps in! But by far these two urban artists saw the most productive print release sessions of the booth. Thanks, guys!
NOTE: All prints will be made available for order soon online via my SHOP by early next week!
On hindsight, I should have set aside a half-hour time difference between each artist signing, for both preparation and maneuverability, at the very least in the transition for products for sale and display. And for that, I apologize to each and everyone if anyone felt rushed or un-organized. I will do better next time!
As for everyone who came for the signing - hope you enjoy your prints, toys, sketches and fun!
