"A cartoon series for children" somehow feels like an oxymoron for these millennial ages, as concepts and creations continue to cater to the kidults, innit? The recent "Thundercats Roar!"-reimagining popped immediately into mind teehee ... "Aquaman: King of Atlantis - Chapter 1 premieres October 14th on HBO Max.
And if you missed this slice of "entertainment news" in early September, here's a reminder than the live action AQUAMAN (played by excellent casting of Jason Mamoa) has more than his comicbook-signature "orange-0n-green" suit - with the introduction and reveal of the "STEALTH SUIT" (?!), to be seen in the sequel to the 2019-feature film; "AQUAMAN LOST KINGDOM"!
Everything I see a "new costume", I'd just instintively think: "Oh, New Toy!" - and I'll leave it at that.
And to complete the "trilogy of news on TOYSREVIL", I'd thought to dredge out a long forgotten (if at all remembered) series of my AQUAMAN fanart from back in the day!
This fanart from 2005 had shown Arthur skewering a fish on his trident (which Christopher Chance mentioned it never should be, and I agreed)... followed by my "Elseworld"-version (circa 2006), where Aquaman is a "Rock-n-Roll Star"?
