POPBOTS & WWR Robots in TOYSREVIL-HQ (#RIP3AToys)
With the announcement of "The End of 3A Toys" (Read HERE #onTOYSREVIL: ), I'm taking a look at the toys on display in the nooks&crannies of #TOYSREVIL-HQ (of which I do not have very much of, alas)...
Situated at the base of my bed, top shelf display are a selection of POPBOTS (2011 / Unboxing pics HERE), a "WWRP ARMSTRONG" sponsored by onesixthbruce (Reviewed HERE) ... and a "Thousand Horizons" Linkin Park X WWRP BRAMBLE from 2011 (Reviewed HERE).
FYI: "WWRp" stands for "World War Robot Portable" = essentially a 1/12th scaled articulated action figure, as compared to its larger 1/6th-scaled toy-brethren.
I've always loved the ROBOTS from 3A Toys - from Ashley Wood's "World War Robots" to his "Popbot" (we're not going to see that feature film at all, are we?), and of course the function of articulated fingers, eventually posed with the bird-flip, innit? Heh.
