New SUPERGIRL "Home" Promo Spot
New SUPERGIRL "Home" Promo Spot showcasing scenes we've seen before, except for a new prolonged look at Kara discovering and picking up a puppy ...!
Honestly I think it's pretty clever to see the "origins of Krypton" in the new DC Universe via the perspective of Supergirl, rather than not addressing/readdressing it is "Superman", and the inclusion of a cute(ish) pet character mirrors what had been successful for James Gunn's previous work with Marvel: "Guardians of the Galaxy", and I am fine with that (if that were the case). Worked pretty darn well for Mandalorian too, innit?
I am honestly looking forward to be seeing this wish-fulfilment of a super-powered Kryptonian who might readily maim and kill (versus the big blue boy-scout), with a heavily flavoured GOTG-vibe, and like I have said, I am fine with that...But that's just me :)

Alcock stars alongside Matthias Schoenaerts, Eve Ridley, David Krumholtz, Emily Beecham, and Jason Momoa. DC Studios heads Peter Safran and James Gunn are producing the film, which is based on characters from DC, Supergirl based on characters created by Jerry Siegel and Joe Shuster.
