"In 2026, we’re expanding into a more immersive format — inviting artists to move beyond standard presentations and into intentional ways of showcasing their work. From dedicated ARTSPACE Rooms to System Booths within a shared exhibition environment, STF 2026 places emphasis on how art toys and character-based practices are experienced. We welcome both new and returning artists whose work resonates with the evolving culture of art toys, soft vinyl, and alternative collectible art." "SuperToy Fest" is a pretty "new" event here in SEA, with this being the 3rd edition, and I've had limited coverage for both the 2025 Edition and the inaugural 2024 Edition, but have not had any direct correspondence with the event organiser @akaristore_official, and partake of the event online as a "keen observer" myself, so instead I've asked a few folks for their POV:
"SuperToyFest is one of the highlight events of the year for me. My first show as an exhibitor was the very first SuperToyFest, and it feels like a welcome home whenever I go back. It’s amazing to see the show grow, and I’m really excited to see everyone at SuperToyFest 2026!" (Shared Desmond Hinkson @blue_tengu)
"Last year’s Super Toy Fest was the second edition, and it lived up to expectations just like the first. I had an amazing time to meet and interact with collectors, catching up with old friends and meeting new ones at the event.
We also managed to squeeze in couple of podcast episodes. Hopefully we get to do few more this year." (Shared Edward Low @drawdelow)
"It was also great to show our overseas friends what the Malaysian designer toy scene is all about. It’s definitely a promising one, and I’m really looking forward to this year’s Super Toy Fest.
How could I possibly miss the one and only best toy event in Malaysia?"
