YOKA in MIKU MRKT



Hunting for these took a good number of years actually, but in my current excavation of 20+years of my toylife (to be housed in temporary storage), I had finally found these YOKAs!



"YOKA" is the name of the "platform toy" (think "BE@RBRICKS" or Toy2R's "QEES") created by adFunture and released circa 2008/09. Since it's release, there had been multiple brand collaborations and representations, as well artists-designs, and was even apart of a massive touring custom show (helmed by DKE Toys), and a blind boxed "Series 1" - for which loose figures are now made available in MIKU MRKT via TOYSREVIL!

The artists who've designed skins include Arkiv, Bunka, DGPH, Filter017, Frank Kozik, Huck Gee and more...!

I had brought "Series 1" in to Singapore for my toycon booth to coincide with the debut release of the TOYSREVIL-Edition YOKA (my sole "production toy" ever made thus far into my 17+years of bloggery)!

Alas I was unable to make an entire set with what I pulled (even for myself lol), and have since made them available at MIKU as loose/singles, and bundled sets (slightly cheaper) = all at ridiculously affordable "introductory" prices (for now)!

Honestly I like the YOKA-form a lot, as I like my bear-bears chubby-ish (unlike Medicom's "skinny" BBs lol), and its always a delight to look at and cuddly hold in the palm of my hands, IMHO.

Also available is the 10-inch tall YOKA articulated vinyl figure (previously featured), featuring a Hello-Kitty-homaged skin-design from WRONGWROKS (whom'll go wonderfully with the 3" tall version :p), sold loose (no box). I also have a Blank White version 10-incher YOKA available as well, but just not on display at MIKU MRKT (Enquire for pricing/availability).

MIKU MRKT can be found at Unit 02-09, Queensway Shopping Centre.
We are opened from 12noon to 6pm daily from Wednesdays thru Sundays (Closed on Mondays & Tuesdays).
